Hi there
I wonder if a econom bulb type E27 (Europe- Belgium) 20w that gives about 100W light would be good for plants. Heliaphora / Sundews
I never did some test with light so this will be the first time. the light about 20cm from the plants is that ok?? or to close??
It seems that the light gives a little bit heat but not to much.
someone who did some test allready?

I grow a number of plants under this kind of light, you will probably will need more than one to supply enough light. i use 3 20w compact fluorescent bulbs in my terrariums.

I use just two 42 Watt (150 Watt equivalent) CFL on my terrarium, which is enough for my Nepenthes and my heliamphora, you may be able to get away with just using one. As a warning though? They are VERY bright and often stun my roommates if the look into my terrarium at the wrong angle!
