Well from what I have see on the ICPS it says you can ask for gemmae but what if it was listed online like seed in fall? The ICPS could make abit of money and the members could get gemmae, is this a viable idea?

It is not practical to offer gemmae via the seed bank unless they were sent directly by the person growing them. In the past if I had excess gemmae I would send them as bonuses in seed orders to members in areas likely to be freeze-free at the time or to members who specifically asked. I no longer have or have access to an extensive collection of pygmies. I gave away all my pygmies when I moved to Oregon. So I am out as a source.
People sending them to me won't work (unless they are for me ;-). Gemmae have a very short "shelf life" even when stored in the refrigerator. If you store them too dry they die. If you store them in damp paper towels--the best way to do it--most brands mold over in a week (the heavy duty blue ones are the best I have used). At the time gemmae happen, many parts of the USA are having freezing weather so they can get frozen in transit.
If you would like to be the source and send them out in the fall, I can facilitate that. You would need to be able to collect about a 1000 gemmae of each species. We would have to figure out the best way to handle ordering in case you ran out of certain species. Then you would send them in a way that meets ICPS standards for professionalism.

Sory I have only grow scorpoides, I can get gemmae from a few forum members, I am going to be in oregon in 2 weeks. So I could get somethings growing and by winter give some gemae away to you the next season I could donate. Since I am moving to Coos Bay I could try to help out with ICPS things or something like that.
