Hi all I have a question about my plant when I was moving my plant half of the leaf came off no bug deal its huge to me so any way it is about the 3rd or 4th one off of the growth point. should I cut it off becouse I am hopint it witt branch if so. and also the vines are getting pritty big and I have them tied so they dont fall any time soon. but would it be better for the plant to leave it standing up or should I just let them fall over.
thanks ieatflys

Standing up would be the best, though if your plants are on the ground then can lay then all around. Huh, that rhymes.

Stake it, or pruning it, are both alternatives as well. The N. 'ventrata' i have periodically over grows its welcome for my limited space, and so i must cut it back within five or so nodes to the bottom. I did this a few months ago, and it now as three growth points, one of which is a basal shoot.

if it has other leaves and an active growing tip, cutting off a damaged leaf wont do any harm. Then again, keeping it there wont either, unless it gets infected or some such something
