Regards Alexander It's really eye-opening that a new pitcher forming in an old one. Before, I only know a pitcher forming from a leaf tip. Is this a special variety? For the Drosera neocaledonica, it is rarely seen in CP stores. Where did you buy it?

I assume that what happened is that another leaf's tendril grew inside the old pitcher, eventually displacing it and breaking through the senescent one. This happens quite often in my collection, though generally, the pitcher bud aborts early on in the development process - probably due to hostile conditions inside the first pitcher. This is the first time that I've seen a fully formed pitcher inside another one.
