I got a small tissue culture B52 earlier this year, I thought it wouln't do much for me this year, But the B52 vigour is clearly vissible. My small plant just arrived at June 6th, it is in a 9x9x9,5 pot and plant measuring 5,5 cm diameter. And here it is today in a 13 x13 x13 pot. Making some nice traps, With a companion plant, also quite happy it seems, This one is making 4cm+ traps as if it normal for a normal red dionaea. Thanks for watching!

Nice! I wish you the best of success with your unique form VFT's, maverick. ;D I wish I could get one of those. Could somebody please tell me where I could different varieties of VFT's in the Greater Toronto Area?

I haven't seen any places to order B52 in the US. Where did you get your stock? That red VFT is fantastic, my Akai Ryu is still so small after its first season. My best grower with large traps is Dente. I saw it catch a fly yesterday. I'm so prowd of that little chomper. ;D

David Conner of www.connerscarnivores.com/ is the best source for 'B52' at the moment. He obtained his mother plants from Henning von Schmeling and most of the other people selling them in the US (including California Carnivores) probably got their clones from David.

Thanks maverick for sharing pictures of B52 and Red. Thanks also to Not a Number for the links to a couple of great sources of CPs. I also followed the link to mmlr38's FlyTrapCare Website and found the thread regarding 'Justina Davis'. This one sounds like a good addition to maverick's collection. The mature plants grow very large traps that hold true to an all-green coloring. That would look striking next to B52 and Red. Sounds like I've picked out a nice trio for myself too. Thanks again, MT.
