I recently got some P. macroceras. They went into shock from being shipped and now seem to be pulling through. My concern is that with dormancy right around the corner would it be wise to put it with the rest of my temperate plants, or should I grow it where it is now until spring; were I can safely put it with my plants then? I'm worried about them rotting since they still might be kind of weak.
Thanks, Adam

From what i gather from this website (http://www.pinguicula.org/pages/plantes/pinguicula_macroceras.htm) that the formation of a solid hibernacula is paramount. I would say, (and i have never grown this species so you probably ought not to listen to me, but no one else threw their pennies in, so i figured why not) put it outside with your temperates, but put it in a protected spot, behind another pot, maybe in the shade of a Sarracenia. I failed at growing Drosera rotundifolia for years because it got too hot in the sun, but this spring i found some stray seedlings doing quite well in the near total shade produced by a thicket of D. filiformis.
