Hi locko, Looks like you've found some Drosera spatulata, Drosera peltalta and some Drosera petiolaris-complex there... Nice find! Thanks for sharing them with us... Happy Growing, Brian.

Nice field shots. I'm glad to see the presence of biochar (charcoal) on the ground as well. Did you have a fire recently in this area?
There is currently a discussion that biochar (elemental C) might be able to sequester atmospheric carbon.

Hey guys. Meadowview we haven't had a fire around here for about three years. Some of the stuff you see pictured is waste material from construction, the plants are growing in a turning bay for trucks and they have dumped it there (many years ago) too make it less boggy. There is charcoal there as well probably washed down from the fire area a few 100 meters away by the stream or dumped there.
