I read about s. jambalaya in savage garden a few years back. just discovering cpphotofinder, i looked for pics. however, there are none of jambalaya. Is this gone from cultivation, or just rare?

Is this gone from cultivation, or just rare? I am guessing both, I did a little research myself, and wasn't able to find much. Probably emailing Peter D'Amato himself would be the best. If you can't find the answer, you can get to the source. Here is his email at Califcarn@aol.com

The listing on the Carnvorous Plant Database shows L. Mellichamp and R. Gardner of the University of North Carolina as the breeders and nominants. Why not contact Dr. Mellichamp at University of North Carolina at Charlotte?
