A week or so ago I received a 3-year-old seedling from (guess) California Carnivores. It's growing well, I have it in a small saucer of water that is always kept chilly, and it's growing outside where it gets morning and some afternoon sun. It's been growing slowly, but one thing I can't shake is that the entire plant is red.
Is this bad? Will it eventually become green again?

I seem to remember reading somewhere that a lot of juvenile Darlingtonias are red, but will "green out" when they develop their mature pitchers. And if not... well, you have an all red Darlingtonia, how cool is that?
