I've gotten a cephalotus and have kept for a while. As stated in a topic on the Heliamphora thread I have bought a Mist'r Lizard mister. The plan was that the mister could drip the pot for a few hours after it is pumped. I was thinking if taking the plant completely out of the tray and keep it suspended and let the dripper drip around the plant. On long trips, I could then allow the plant to be watered from the tray. What do you think about this idea?

So your idea is to let the mister drip on the plant to keep it moist, and on longer trips ( ?) have it refill the tray the plant is sitting in? Am I getting the general idea here? If so, I think in might work, but it depends on how much water the mister drips and if the plant likes to be constantly wet. Williamg

Yes, that's the general idea; however, I'm probably going to have to wait a while to try it out as my ceph is currently growing in one of those self watering pot, which is another great method to use for this kind of plant.
