I know that flava X leucophylla. It's all by itself. Did you see any pure flavas there, Brian?

Hi Randy, No, absolutely not! I was quite mesmerized upon seeing this spectacular hybrid, so I dedicated a whole day's exploration to finding Sarracenia flava, but to no avail. Keith Tassin from TNC was with me for two days of the four days I spent there exploring and filming, etc... He's never found them either and he's been there several times, burning the area (prescribed fire) and knows every nook and cranny. VERY interesting! This same anomaly occurs about 12 miles north of there as well, even further outside of S. flava's documented range! I did manage to do a few video clips showing no S. flava anywhere near the fore-mentioned plants for research/ documentary purposes. Happy Growing, Brian.

Dayum! Brian. That is too much to take in. I can hardly wait for the movie... That last one (which looks like a leuco x purp cross to me) is out of this world! Thanks for sweet dreams, tonight.
