Offering to trade and then telling people to only PM you defeats the whole point of the "No trading/buying/selling" rule.
No public trading, period. That includes telling people to PM you only.

i didnt offer to trade ...lol i have nothing to trade...... and i didnt say me only...gosh...and i didnt know you couldnt private message someone to trade you something "privately"... i think it defeats the purpose of having a private messaging system if you cant talk or trade without others interfering hence the name private messaging.... i mean if your using the pm system it shouldnt be influenced/restricted by others...... however i do understand that this is a nonprofit organization and you dont want a trades but besides maybe restricting pming to just cp things you shouldnt ban trading between people via pm

Wasn't talking to you Let me try and clarify: Trading between PM's is your own business because we don't read them, however, it is NOT ok to make a post saying "I'm looking for X and can trade X, but please only PM me."

Hi cndncp- I live in BC too. Although I no longer reside in Vancouver, I am there quite often visiting colleagues and family. If you're interested in Neps and stuff, I've been growing them for almost 30 years. And have some success with various species... so I'd be happy to share cultivation ideas on what works and doesn't work in our climate. If you're interested, I've posted on occasion, some photos of my plants at the Ontario CP forum. Here's a sample link to some highland neps I shot a few months back: ocps.proboards78.com/index.cgi?board=photos&action=display&thread=1175886068
