hey everyone
my name is Jason and I have been growing Cps for 3 years now. I have been reading this forum for a month or so. I have already learned many new things and seen some very cool pictures of beautiful plants. I figured that it was time to introduce myself and join in the discussions.

Hi Jason,
Welcome to the forum.
Is that Palm Bay Florida?
Been on any field trips to see Sarra in the wild?
I'm just mad keen about them and I plan to visit the east coast of the US specifically for a field trip.
There's nothing like seeing the plants in the wild to help you learn how to better look after the one you have at home.
Dave.

you should ask your friend if he doesnt want the plants if you can have them...that way you get some new plants and you get to protect the plants from being mown over

Hi, Tanja in Tampa. I was hoping to create a Florida CP society. I can't find one (The one in Tampa is disbanded). Every time I see a post in Florida I ask if you want to join. I am a relatively new grower too. Three years. I have about 200 plants, and I have lots of seedlings. I am teaching a workshop in about a week to a local library for new growers. Bob Morris has great plants if you're ever over here. Best wishes, Tanja.

wow well if you are running a work shop you may want want to type up a flyer and give it to them with your phone number on it and i date when you are going to meet tell them that they should call you to rsvp so that you know how many people are going as so that in the case that no one calls you dont bother going to the meeting youreself....

rj331--- i did get one large S. minor but left many more. i took one on the far outside edge of the spring. i left the ones close to the center. (he cant mow there) i also got some D. capillaris.
Tanja-- i am interested in joining a Florida CPS. i purchased a couple of rooted cuttings of Nepenthes from someone in that area about two years ago. it may have been the same person.
