I have a N. Talangensis that i got about 3 months ago. It has dark black spots on its leaves and has never produced a pitcher. I have other Neps that are doing great! Are the dark spots some kind of fungus? help!

It seems to be a similar prob that I have with mine. THis plant hates warm temps and it seems that when its stressed it succumbs to that "leaf spot". It is said to be due to a fungus. healthy plants will not be affected much and the stronger acclimatised plants don't show these symptoms.

What temps do they like? My tank is about 83 during the day and 70 at night. Should it be cooler.
To get rid of the leaf spot can i use just any fungicide?
Thanks

Hmm....when my temps started spiking to 80 the plant started showing tons of these spots on the old leaves. I finally repotted it into looser media and now in my basement ... max temp is 70F and min is around 60F. SO the plant seems to be liking this conditions and there are signs of the newest leaf to become a pitcher.
I guess its just the single clone which seems to be having this problem. I know others with talangs which are going crazy and not this picky.

I moved mine to the basement this fall when temp. got too cold. I have it under grow lights and a personal humidifier for it. It was doing great until the last while. Leaves get black spots on them and then turn completely balck. I water it twice in a row when it was not bone dry. Could this be my problem. It doen have some new growth coming from the bottom though. Is this a fungal problem or watering problem?
