The Second Edition of Pitcher - Plants of Borneo by Anthea Phillipps, Anthony Lamb and Ch'ien C. Lee has just been published by Natural History Publications (Borneo).
The First Edition, by Anthea Phillipps and Anthony Lamb will be well known to many, but even if you own it Nepenthophiles will still want the new book.
Firstly, with the addition of Ch'ien Lee as a coauthor there are a great many more superb photographs.
Secondly, the species list is up to date with an additional four species described.
Also, much has been rewritten, including a chapter on cultivation.
The First Edition ran to 171 pages, whereas the Second has 298, it is almost twice the size of the original and a great improvement of a good book.
I was lucky to be able pick up my copy, hot off the press, at the Singapore Garden Festival last week, where I was working for Borneo Exotics and I had the pleasure of assisting Anthony Lamb for several hours as he signed copies. I can't find a link to it on the Natural History Publications (Borneo) web site yet (it is that new!) but I'm sure there will be one before long.

I'm waiting for my book for ten days now. I bought it on Ebay.
Looks really interesting indeed.
