I planted some sarracenia seeds today, Leucophylla, Rubra, and I think rehderi... im not to sure about this one though, but its definately a hybrid. Before, when i bought seeds at a garden center, they never came with a lid, and they always died. But now, im using a 12- peat pellet Ferry Morse greenhouse. I just treated them with funigicide.

awgaupp - did you give your seeds a month-long cold wet period prior to planting? That should help you get those seeds up and growing.

But were they wet? Sarracenia seeds are stored for long periods of time in the fridge; but they still need stratification before sowing them.

Good luck, but you're giving us the impression you're not 100% sure what you're doing!

awgaupp
What they are trying to say is...
Cold Storage = seed packet placed in refrigerator for an extended period of time. Not to be confused with "Cold Stratification"
Cold Stratification = Placing seed on a wet media surface and chilling for a time period. Not to be confused with "Cold Storage"
Your posts read as if you are confusing the two and using "Cold Storage" as if it was "Cold Stratification" and if this is the case then you are doomed to failure.
