Hello all; I've been successfully growing U. graminifolia in aquaria as a foreground for a couple of years now, but I can't get it to grow terrestrially. I've tried milled sphagnum slurries, 50:50 peat/sand mixes with the water level to the soil surface, and even ADA Aquasoil as I use in my aquaria with the water level to the surface, but I can't get cuttings to take. This is my goal Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. Jim

you may want to just make that picture a link if you did not take that picture. By the looks of the picture I would guess they may need high humidity yet cool. I would try the tray method. Keep it in a small pot in a tray where the water doesn't dry out. Also you may want to use a larger cutting....it may be to much of a shock on smaller cuttings.....Also i think pure peat would work best....

Jim, There's an interesting thread over here. This grower has success growing it both submerged & as a terrestrial but has yet to see any flowers ...
