There aren't many species that grow in the Uk , but on a trip to Cornwall last year I found two of them growing side by side in a field populated by a few cows with patches of boggy sphagnum on Bodmin Moor. Heres a view of the general habitat. some D. rotundifolia some P. lusitanicumThis plant was pulled up accidently when trying to clear grass to take the photo. It was replanted as soon as the shot was taken. I'm going back this year to look for some D. intermedia which I am hoping must be there somewhere too and if I am lucky, hopefully I may even find a few hybrids between the two.

Sheila
Thank you for the images - I love to see habitat photos. It is always nice to try to get a mental image of where the plants originate, helps to make their growing conditions closer to natural.
Cheers Pete
