So I have a major infestation of something on my D capensis. The major thing that's very interesting is that it seems very particular to the D. capensis. One pot has a D. multifida in it as well and the D multifida has nothing on it at all.
I was considering just chopping off all the D capensis (2 typical, one albo, one red) and letting them grow back from their roots to take care of the infestation. I think it may work, I also think it may not work if the insects are living in the soil as well. What do you guys think?

Can you supply us with a photo or description of the pest? It would be easier to help you if you could...

Aphids would be my guess from the last photo.
I would just immerse the plants pot and all in a container of distilled/rain/RO water for a couple of days. I'm not sure how the binata will take it but fertile binata is almost as weedy as capensis so it will probably survive just fine. Just make sure temperatures stay well above freezing.
