Alrightee then! I've just aquired a D. lanata, a D. kennealyi and a D. falconeri for the first time and would like to successfully grow and propagate this plant. I'd like to hear some success stories and tips on these. What's the best soil mix for them? I know they like it hot. Can they be grown together in the same conditions pretty much?... ???Thanks!

They can be grown together. Media is open to what you prefer. Many use peat/sand with good success. I use a less conventional mix of 2/2/1/1 perlite/sand/milled sphag/peat.
If you search this forum for threads about petiolaris there are a number of lengthy discussions that should help you

Thanks, will do....I'm thinking about growing under lights, since it is going to be getting rather chilly here soon. I might just keep a year-round setup going...

I placed an order for some D. petiolaris complex plants from "Tropical Carnivorous Plants" after some people on the ICPS discussion list related good experience ordering from them. That was in the fall, and I haven't received the plants, nor got response to emails on the status of the order. Does anyone know whats up with this nursery?

Quite possibly the case...If it's the same gentleman i'm thinking of, who is also on Ebay. His feedback rating has plummeted to multiple negatives over the last few months, with the same complaints as yours from his clients. It might be worth your looking into...Good luck in your efforts, Brian.
