i bought these two forked sundews from the gift shop at the "Chomp" carnivorous plant exhibit in San Francisco. They are very unhealthy and completely lacking in dew and were among other dying vfts and sarr. I bargained with the vendor and was able to purchase them for 4$s each. so here are my new plants and i am going to do my best to rehabilitate them back to normal.

Drosera binata. Hardy species. They should recover with a little TLC.

Be aware that many of the D. binata clones become dormant in the winter. Some die back completely with no leaves. In spring, they sprout from dormant buds. So, if your plants "die", don't give up.

In my experience, D. binata is almost impossible to kill! Very hardy plant...Try to keep the soil a little drier in cooler temps to avoid any mold issues and they'll be fine. Also, they're VERY easy to propagate from root cuttings.
