Sow them out and keep them hot and moist. Use whatever media you use for petiolaris complex.

Go to the ICPS seedbank (provided you are a member) and order some of the "beginner" species like Drosera capensis or Drosera tokaiensis.
These usually don't require stratification and grow well in a variety of conditions and planting mixes. They are attractive plants and rather prolific seeders in their own right.

yeah i did order some of those also...sadly i went to check on the tanks that the seeds are in today and the long fiber spagnum that i had mixed with the peat started to grow this stringy spider like webs on it...i might try spraying a mixture of alcohol and water on it to kill the bacteria but im not going to unless it spreads to the seeds....

LFS sometimes gets a whitish fuzz when first rewet. It usually goes away after a few days on its own with no lasting effects, but keep an eye on it anyway.

Be mindful, sometimes fine web-like spinnegs can be the product of mites. Might want to break out a magnifying glass and look close for them as they can do some damage.

no its not mites im used to having mite infestations on my other plants ...ex: corn....so im pretty good at identifying wether its a bug or mold and this is somesort of mold.......also it doesnt web to any specific thing. there are some strands that stick straight up which is totally uncharastic of spider mites or for any spiderous webs for that matter thats why i am led to believe that this is a mold...... also ive been doing some research and found that some dried lfs thats imported into the us for the purpose of orchid bedding isnt sterilized first so it can contain mold spores...... and that is what i bought....the lfs for the use on orchids...... but it was cheaper then the stuff for cp's and it looked exactly the same and was packaged the same so i figured it was the same thing sort of like calamari and squid except calamari cost about 4 dollars more at staterbrothers.....

ok so today i went to check on the seeds and there was 1 single ordensis sprout and a couple of drosera peltata ariculata seedlings.....i was so excited..then i saw the mold close to me seedlings and was all die stupid mold and took a ear cleaner thingy and dabbed it in alcohol and put it on the mold to kill it .....so hopefully it will stop the mold from spreading and killing my seedlings
