I was kayaking, last weekend, on an artificial lake on Vancouver Island, and I noticed some moss growing on some logs. The moss also harboured massive colonies of D. Rotundifolia. Some of these plants were growing in cracks in the timber, just above the water level of the lake.
If I'd had my camera with me, I'd have photographed a large dragonfly caught by a number of the plants.
