How should I go about germinating drosera burmanni and drosera spatulata . Plans are to grow them outdoors. only question is should I put them out side from the start or germinate them indoors first then put them outside. Is full direct sun bad for seeds/ seedlings.

You can germinate them in full sun if you want. I would if that's going to be their permanent home.
Just be careful about the rain.

Well yes you can do it ( Growing out side from the start) What i do is using some clean rap and covering it up at first. ( and you will find, if you get rain you wont have a loss of seeds) Try not to place the pot in full sun at first because it can become to hot. i poke some holes in the wrap to allow air to go in and out. I have found that the seeds will also start growing a lot faster than normal. Always have a look out for mold that might grow.

That's exactly what I have done except they got full sun straight away. Tommorow it will have been a month since they were sowed and no sign of germination I'm a little worried but you can't always win.

That is why I said i'm a little worried because when I sowed capensis a while ago they were producing the 3rd or 4th leaf within a month.
