No, I don't have photos of the plant. It's pretty pathetic looking which is why I figured it was high time to figure out how best to meet its cultural requirements. I'm at work right now but later on this evening I will take a photo of the poor little thing and post it for you. No cyber snickering....

Thanks for the pic. The pic in nature is fascinating as they are growing vertically on the cliff. I'm trying to grow a few pings that way in my vertical terrarium. I think it just might work. The root system is so small, they seem to be fine as long as there is good humidity and a squirt a water every now and then. peter.

Pingman, do you have a photo of how you are attempting to grow them please? Also too, what type of a moss or bark did you select?

Here are my mesos Lover, I do have one Ping mounted on a slab of corkbark. Just take a wad of sphag and use fishin line to hold it down. Place in a tray and allow a few strands of sphag to run down to the tray. TO get the plant established I tilted the bark back to a 45 degree and let it grow for a while and once I was sure it was in place I just tipped it back to vertical. I'll try to get some pics over the weekend for you.

That's the second really awesome terrarium I have seen here and this forum is not only a month old! I'll have to take a closer look at that a little bit later. What do you classify as shag moss please?

By the way, that is exactly what I was looking to see only much nicer than what I had visualized in my mind before asking the question. PL

I went to two pet stores looking for fish food and crickets and meandered over by the fish tanks. I decided to buy one to try a terrarium for the mesophytica. There was a gal there looking at the same tank as me and we got to talking and she mentioned her tank had a leak and she had to replace it. When she found out I was purchasing a tank for plants, she offered me her 29H leaker which will work fine for me. I will be picking it up sometime next weekend.
Will you help me create a nice terrarium for my mesophytica please?

PL, sorry, typed too fast. It should be sphag (sphagnum) moss. I use the New Zealand stuff. Peter.

I have NZ LFS moss here. I also have chicken wire. Where did you purchase the corkbark you are you using in your set up?
