Hi - A lot depends on how you are storing them, if the seeds were ripe and dry, in an envelope they will keep till March
Cheers Steve

I put the seeds in a plastic bag with a towel that is slightly moist. Is it possible if I plant them now? They have been in the bag for almost 5 weeks.

If you are *stratifying* them, 4-6 weeks is necessary at minimum before sowing. They cannot be stored indefinitely in moisture, so they have to be planted once that period is done.
