Greetings from cold and snowy Montana! I brought home a couple of CP yesterday from the greenhouse. Neither are marked at all and after some searching on the internet I have possible IDs but would really appreciate an expert opinion on them.
I am not able to add the picture as an attachment because I get this error message: Unable to upload file carn1.jpg.
Error: This forum has exceeded its attachment space limit. Your file cannot be uploaded.
I did reduce the size so the pic is less than 1 mb so if there's a better way to load a picture, let me know. I'd certainly appreciate a good ID on these two. Thanks!

We exceeded our allotted upload space and must pay to get more. We suggest that you simply put your photos in any number of free photo hosting sites, such as photobucket, imageshack, flickr, etc. Then just post the link to the photo.

Okay, here's a link to the picture of two CPs bought yesterday. Is one a Sarracenia purpurea, maybe subsp venosa? And the other Drosera tokaiensis or spatulata??? After looking at other pics on the web I'm wondering if the drosera clump should be divided? It seems that there are A LOT of drosera plants in that pot. The pots are 2". I have had a Nepenthes ventrata for a year or more and it's done really well with lots of pitchers. Other than that I have had no experience with CPs. Hopefully I can make them happy.

One definitely appears to be a Sarracenia purpurea, and the other could be a Drosera spatulata. But I am not sure as I don't know what Drosera are commonly available in your part of the world. If you repot the Drosera you will have a lot of happy plants, although it looks like you will need quite a few pots.

S. purpurea, probably venosa going by what's commonly available, and D. tokaiensis, not spatulata.
