Is there any ICPS branded merchandise available to members, like t-shirts, window stickers etc?

Are there any volunteers to design, produce and distribute them? Then the board can most certainly talk about that..

how would the earnings for them be distributed is my question? I say, if someone else makes them and sends them, how much is for ICPS and for that company?

In general I was thinking about members volunteering to do this, just like we work the seed bank for instance. In the past there was a basic T-shirt that we had printed and sold in the webstore that way. So a volunteer did the disign, a company got a print order and volunteers did the shipping. Therefore all actual profits went into the good work of conservation etc. We stopped when we ran out of the T-shirts for lack of people wanting to go for the next batch..also: selling T-shirts proved to give a lot of work. The board is however open minded about any offers individuals or companies might make...though companies would certainly be screened on ethical standards and reasonable ideas about production costs vs sale if we should deside to go for a new product. the objective if we should go for this would be to have a society product for our members with a reasonable profit margin to go to conservation, research, etc..not to making a large commercial profit for a company.

we have our own embroidery machine which we use to do various cp designs. Is the ICPS looking to create a new logo, or use the current one.
Does anyone know if the current logo has already been digitized into an embroidery file or not?

As far as a I know there is no embroidery file, the previous shirt was printed. There are no solid plans for a new shirt or whatever yet, but if you have a specific idea let me know. We are generally open minded and there happens to be a board meeting on the 28th/29th this month (Bloody timezones!)so a proposal can be floated .

I think its a great Idea, perhaps this could be worked in to the Cost of memebership and each member gets a t shirt when joining or renewing

Hi Peter,
I think that might make the membership a bit expensive but given an affordable option and volunteers willing to store and ship a supply we might be able to do something. As I said..I like the idea and the board can discuss options but at this moment no one of our regular volunteers (we can alsways use more as there are always more ideas than manpower) is available to pick up this task. Our store is almost exclusively seed oriented..so the store manager doesn't need much space to store shop stock and has limited work in sendig out orders.

Maybe have it as an additional button and also a store item. In the store, the shirt on full price In the renewal process, an optional add on of the shirt with a discount
