There are two new Nepenthes from Halmahera described here: www.ingentaconnect.com/content/nhn/blumea/pre-prints/content-nbc_blumea_0329The paper is open access. The species are N. halmahera and N. weda. N. danseri is no longer recorded from Halmahera; it is only known from the Raja Ampat islands off Western New Guinea. So the island of Halmahera has four Nepenthes species; the other two being N. maxima and N. mirabilis. This compares with Seram and Buru having two and Obi having three (one as yet undescribed).
