Since the concrete sink isn't going to work out as a container bog garden, I'm thinking about a couple of small terrariums. I'm downsizing my fishroom from 50 tanks to 10, so I have a bunch of them in my store room. For now I'm putting 2 5 gal tanks on top of the peat in the sink and putting the potted plants that came in the mail today ( D. spatulata, D. beleziana, D. intermedia x capillaris, Dionaea " Red Piranha, Gremlin & Dente, S. flavis and purpurea ) in the bottom with an inch or so of water. I have a couple of buckets of boiled peat in the fishroom. I'll add some sand to that and fill the tanks with it and transplant the plants into that. I'm not sure how deep the peat should be. I'm inclined to fill them to within a couple of inches of the top, not because the plants need it that deep, but because I'm concerned about solar heat gain if the tanks are only half full. I can easily move them inside in the winter.
