The Drosea binata complex has never been fully investigated. With the knowledge now that some forms are self-fertilizing while others only cross is intriguing. This is the same observations that led to the splitting of the Byblis liniflora/filifolia complex. Additionally some hybrids within the complex are sterile (MARSTON DRAGON) suggests a complex of species?
Thoughts?

I think it is generally accepted that binata is a complex that needs sorting out and work on that is actually in progress.Like with the Byblis there is a lot more going on than just sef-fertile or not. I don't expect that we will have all the answers soon...

Marston Dragon is sterile and does not cross with other varieties either. Its orgigin supposedly from dichotoma Giant and Extrema.
