So I've ordered some vft seeds from CZ Plants and they should arrive anytime now. I have a plastic container filled with Peat at the moment and it has a lid to it but the lid to keep in humidity. The lid is opaque white and was wondering if the lid could some how block or filter the much needed light during germination? Should I be worried about this?

It's best to give the seedlings the same lighting the will be grown under.

I agree. I would advise not using the lid and using food wrap and an elastic band instead.
