I have to say those are some of the most divergent D. spatulata I've ever seen....great shots though!

I love the Utricularia caerulea, and it was surprising to me that there would be Nepenthes growing on the island, especially within view of the ocean.

There are plenty of instances where Nepenthes live in the spray zone. Mirabilis, albomarginata, and ampullaria are known to.

The book Pitcher Plants of the Old World has a quantity of photos from all those species at the very sea shoreline, mostly on cliffs and coraline outcrops splashed by saltwater
