Thanks hcarlton.
Had read through this thread and noticed your photos with U. pubescens occurred between early November and early April, so that is why i was curious about its summer habits, though you noted how easy this species was for you to grow.
Also noticed your U. reniformis in this thread and wanted to know if your colony of it has flowered for you yet.
I've recently taken an interest in growing a few species and hybrids from section Orchidioides, as well as gibba and fulva, but still new to these with a lot to learn yet.

Never had reniformis flower. But also yet to have it in a container that didn't end up having bad moss or some sort of mold infestation invade (due to bad soil elsewhere).

Have you tried using a Trichoderma strain to control the mold problem?
Trichoderma is an apex predator in the fungal jungle, chowing down on both cellulose and chitins, and commercial mushroom farmers know well enough to not bring Trichoderma anywhere near their crops.
