I have to wait to order it until the weather is warmer in case I am not around when it arrives so it doesn't freeze to death. If they are still available in March I will consider it, but Oregon is too far for a heat pack to ensure survival (I live in Michigan, that is pretty long distance).
That is why I haven't pursued it.

The idea is to purchase NOW, while the plant is available, and request a ship date appropriate for your zone. There is no guarantee this hybrid (or any other) will be available again in April or May.

Fair enough, I'll get to it then.

I have officially placed my bid on the eBay plant! You know you are bidding on a plant that will be shipped bare-root, right? (Quote from the auction page: "What you are purchasing is (1) 3 1/2 inch leafspan (leaf tip to leaf tip) plant shipped unpotted") You need to be ready to deal with it: have soil ready.

I have purchased soil that will arrive far ahead of the plant, and even if it doesn't, I have plenty of sphagnum peat moss that will be ok to make it through until the more suitable mix arrives.

I read the description. I may be new to the world of carnivorous plants, but I am not new to ordering stuff online -_-

I read the description. I may be new to the world of carnivorous plants, but I am not new to ordering stuff online -_- I only pointed this out as a favor to you, since you made it clear in recent discussions that you were averse to buying bare root plants. People frequently skim text and miss important details, that's all.

I've never had an issue with bare rooted neps, but I put all of my new neps in a terrarium and re-harden them (I just assume they come from perfect conditions, even if they have not)

I do have a terrarium. Plus, I could always use a freezer bag and poke a few holes in it or use plastic wrap to let it acclimate to the humidity. I left behind my issues with shipping bare root after people stated that nepenthes do better shipped bare root than not.

I won the auction! It shall be mine! I am delaying shipping until after spring break though, so it doesn't get too cold.
