Dear all, I received two D. helodes forms as new additions to my collection this winter. When starting new pots from gemmae, I keep them inside during their first winter in warm conditions (room temperature plus whatever heat the lamps will add) with a relatively long photo period (12 h). This way, the plants usually develop quickly and are mostly quite strong in spring, when I will adapt them to the conditions in my "wintergarden". Both D. helodes forms grow well and fast, but one of them even is in full flower now, just 3 months after arriving as gemmae! The flowers have a nice rose colour which is very different from the white flowered form I grow for years. Here are some snapshots: Enjoy! Dieter
