Hi all! I've posted this in a few forums, but I thought everyone here would likely be interested as well. I've been trying to learn more about the bog of Coleman Tarnok (of Sarracenia leucophylla 'Tarnok' fame). The cultivar description for S. leucophylla 'Tarnok' mentions a bog that Mr. Tarnok started cultivating about 40 years ago. He and his wife have passed within the last decade, so I wanted to see what the current state of the family property is. I've been updating my findings over at the Sarracenia Proboards, but if anyone is interested, I can post updates here as well. Here is a link to what I've found so far: sarracenia.proboards.com/thread/952/state-tarnok-bog-ms . If anyone has any relevant information, it would be greatly appreciated!

Not much information, except that having read your discussion on the Sarracenia forum I can confirm that Ron Determann is still in Atlanta. Their webiste has the contact information of all staff on this page: atlantabotanicalgarden.org/about-us/administration-partnersDon't know if he can help though.

Thanks marcel! I was actually able to contact him last week, but he seems to be in the same boat as I am. And he's out of the U.S. right now, so he has no access to any of his notes.
