Blackwater Forest CPs possibly under threat

See these links for some unpleasant news re. industry desire to exploit oil reserves under Blackwater River State Forest, FL and beyond. Pardon the pun, but the prospect of oil contamination into wetlands is more than undesirable if there is a risk that would be a consequence of drilling.

This is truly an atrocity, as Blackwater Forest is home to MANY species of CP. I'm calling for all CP growers, enthusiasts and the like to sign this petition on Change.org

So far, signatures are appearing rather quickly and a likened proposal to drill there for oil "died" in legislation a while back. Let's make sure it dies again! Your help is deperately appreciated. I'll be keeping a close eye on this AND shall be writing Fl. Senator Broxton about it.
