I have read this whole section as I'm about to enter this area of tissue culturing plants, and have not found any experiences about tissue culturing the pinguicula genus of CP plants, has anybody experienced with them or know about any useful information about this procedure (culturing media, hormones, sterilization..)?

Great site, I'll look through it and contact Mr Read! Looked through the site and found this article: www.pinguicula.org/pages/culture/in_vitro.htmEven though they don't say about the growth regulators needed only about the care and the basic MS composition

Hi Coline,
Pinguicula are easy to grow in vitro. I am more about Nepenthes TC but I grew Pinguicula in 1/4MS without PGr's, they propagate very fast. You can sterilize seeds with a 5-10% bleach solution for 5-10 mins, then 3 rinses in sterile water.
Kind regards, Fabrice

Thanks, I will try that procedure! Good that you culture the nepenthes as well, I will try to grow N. Ventricosa, ventrata and 'gentle' on the TC
