I rescued mine from the Navy Pear in Chicago and it was looking like it was on it's last leg. I am far from being an expert but... 1. repotting it in spaghum moss(it must be Spaghum!) 2. keeping it in a tray of Distilled water(this is probably the most important thing) 3. lots of brught light. I get my distilled water from Walgreens. Granted buying water seems kind of silly but my VFT has rewarded me with not dying. It went from this. To this. Good luck. P.S. I am in no way endorsing the consumption of Miller Light. It is disgusting.

I thought you were suggesting that the Miller Lite was the distilled water from Walgreens. ;D.

Heheh
Thats actually why it was taken off the porch. Someone spilled some Miller Lite into the pot. That and people liked to stick things into the trap.

It looks like you discovered the secret. The Miller Lite really saved that sickly looking plant. Barry needs to revise his FAQ.

An amusing post! I've been nursing a 12 pack of ML all weekend with a follow up BBQ (Horrible stuff, but I just can't spring for anything decent right now). Working on CP's all over the back (mostly transplants from TC) , but have never let any of the stuff, ML or similar get into the trays. This might be worth an experiment! If it actually helped? Got bunches of VFT''s, so maybe I could... feed them another way??? www.connerscarnivores.com/dconner_growlist.htmlAgar

... but if you must. At least use a good imported beer. Nooooooo!! Miller Lite is as close to distilled water that you can get. That imported stuff has all sorts of TDS and just plain TS.
