During the last weeks we tested a weather resistant and simple to operate time lapse camera, the "GardenWatchCam" by Brinno (online between Euro 90 to 150). It may be of interest in case you like to film your plants, garden, greenhouse or any construction site in time lapse under wet greenhouse or outdoor conditions. Our test run took place inside our tropical greenhouse, where the camera was mounted within the range of our sprinkler system without any protection. No problem occurred! Unfortunately macro-shots are impossible because the minimum distance is 50-60 cm, however, that is sufficient for larger plants. More information is provided @ www.brinno.com/html/GWC-intro.htmlThe plants for the test run are N. rajah, N. stenophylla and N. veitchii (May 3rd until June 18th).
