The OHCPS is getting together for some fun and to oogle the greenery as a way to stave off the winter blues (though I have to ask, have we had a real winter yet?) at the wonderful Krohn Conservatory in Cincinnati, Ohio. The conservatory is a real treat, though they don't have many (read: only one or two) carnivorous plants on display. That's ok with us, though, since the rest of the collection is stunning. Meet up with us at 1 PM on Saturday, 18 February 2012 in the foyer of the Krohn Conservatory. Afterword, we'll head over to a Mount Adams pub for good food, good company, and, of course, plant geekery. See the facebook event page for more details. If you arrive at the scheduled place and time and don't notice the obvious group of carnivorous plant enthusiasts -- what's the collective noun for a group of us, anyway? A peristome of carnivorous plant enthusiasts? Maybe... A bog? Fen? -- anyway, if you can't find us, give me a call: (614) 859-9695. I'll be the one with this as my ringtone. Awesome, Y/Y? Hope to see some of you there! Krohn Conservatory by Kitkor, on Flickr
