Dear Alexander,
Your P. pilosa looks a lot like my P. AL #13... But slightly different.
Does P. pilosa have glands on the bottom side of the leaf?

Hello Dave Sorry for the late reply.I got this plant as P.pilosa from a well known grower. This plant don´t have glands on the bottom side of the leaf. For me the P. AL #13... looks different. It hasn´t that much hairs on the flower and in hasn´t the white center in the flower. Also the ellow colour in the center of the flower is less prominent than in my plant.May be it´s an hybrid with pilosa? But i´m not an expert! Regards Alexander

The closely thing it could be is P. gigantea * P. pilosa, except that Edward Read told me is was collected directly from the wild by Alfred Lau...
Maybe something happened between some flowers in his greenhouse?

It is photo threads like this that make me want to get into growing pings. I really like the flowers of many of those species.

Recently got one and am trying again (so far so good!). As I was looking at these photos, I literally made a shopping list in my mind
