During hurricane irene a large log fell into my pond and killed many of my Aldrovanda plants. They have been growing very well in my conditions even though the pond is full of tadpoles and fish and I do not do anything special to condidion the water. I would like to move the plants indoors in large aquariums and I would like to know if it is okay to grow temerate aldrovanda indoors. The plants were originally from Meadowview.

I have not tried growing a temperate Aldrovanda in my aquarium (though I suspect that is actually what I've been growing these past couple of years...but I won't get into details now). I would be curious, if you do try it, how you achieve the dormancy requirement.
