These are two plants started from seed that I've had my eye on all year. I finally decided to uproot and repot them into deeper pots of their own and set them in the tray I have designated as evaluation plants. These photos were taken immediately after repotting, so the plants don't look their best because of that. But these two have impressed me with extreme and reliable coloration, large traps and a low growth habit all year long, which I personally like best. As usual, I'm too lazy to resize the photos to the size required for this forum, so you can see photos of them here: FTS Deep Red Guerrilla and FTS Purple Ambush flytraps (names are tentative) I hope you enjoy the photos of them

Beautiful cultivars. I meant to comment earlier and it got past me. Any new thoughts about the names?

I like Purple Ambush. The trap interiors look really brightly colored.

Probably the most beautiful coloration of the Venus fly trap that I've seen so far.. and I mean that honestly...
I'm excited to see what happens with your tissue cultures, also excited to see you ready to trade/sell ^_^ Hehehe...
Referring to the "Purple Ambush" that is..
The way the color bleeds over the rim from inside the trap is marvelous...
