I'm collecting rainwater for my 3 carnivorous plants (drosera capensis, dionaea, and sar. purpurea). I have a clean, new tarp and bucket that I use to collect the water with. They are set up in an open clear area, but still I get some suspended dirt particles in my water, not a lot but some. I have tried filtering it out but it's quite time consuming running a couple gallons of water through a funnel with a piece of filter paper, and so I'd rather not do it unless it will hurt my plants. So, is it okay or not okay to have dirt particles suspended in the water? Thank you

Don't worry about it. The plants won't mind.

One year it was really dry and I bought some distilled water from a local grocer. My sarracenia leaves started twisting so I hoard rain water now for the lean times. Hope the rain remains pure always.

!!!! I thought you weren't suppose to store water for CPs in galvanized tanks...!!!
