Hi there! Last summer I spend my time trekking in lets say Mid Norway, The Jotunheimen NP area. I had 3 weeks of great weather and nice sight seeing. I found lots of Sundews and Ping's and of course other great vegatation. Here are the pics In the beginning there where a lots of Pings, really A LOT even on the roadside I could find them a few km up north, near Geiranger I found a interesting swamp Drosera anglica was growing together with thousants of D. rotundifolia. on the drier sites their whas Dactylorhyza maculata growing a vieuw over the peat swamp Drosera rotundifolia and Drosera anglica Enjoy

I'm curious what was the approximate location latitude? Google Earth gives the latitude on Jotunheimen NP as 61.5 N.; Elev 4525 ft (1380 m).

Thanks Bob -- I should have read the text closer.
It's only a smidge further North than I am in Alaska!

hi there
Also for info , The swamp I found around Geiranger latitude is 62°N .....quiet near the artic circle. the Drosera's there where growing at higher level then for the Pinguicula's. As it was middsummer days where very long, almost 24 hours and weather was great. warm days and cool moisty nights
