So I'm going to visit wonderful europe for my honeymoon with my fiancée Catherine for 21 days this summer(aug 16-sept 6th). Landing in France, then up to the Netherlands, back down to Switzerland, Rome, and Barcelona. Does anyone have any suggestions within these locations that I should 'definitely go see'? I'm open to everything arts, music, clubs, food, you name it! I also plan on visitng a couple bogs in switzerland, so expect a couple pics of some euro drosera when i come back! Thanks for any tips! ..And I'd LOVE to visit some of you guys and drool over your amazing setups, talk cp talk and then I'd be quickly on my way, there's only so much you can see in 21 days...

Hi, pity you are not two weeks earlier. The ICPS conference is in Leiden, The Netherlands on the 6th, 7th and 8th of August and the exhibition + guided tours will continue till 15 th. The standing collection of CPs of the botanical gardens Leiden is always worth visiting though: www.hortusleiden.nl/index.php/english/Tons of musea so you have to be a bit more specific in your taste for me to help there (painting and of what period, Engineering, nature, etc). Amsterdam is always fun: great restaurants with just about every country and style represented, the canals (boat trip?), red light district, churches of every domination and every age, diamond cutting, you name it. And best of all, if you are in normal health you can walk for one to the other in most cases and there is reasonable public transport for the other objects (don't even think about driving yourself in Amsterdam unless you're from New York ;D) Something a bit of route (it's in the lower part of The Netherlands, while most musea etc are more north-west) is the Delta works. There is a theme park there, but you can visit the storm surge barrier etc. This was built to protect against large flooding (basically because in 1953 we had our own Catherina, 165.000 ha was flooded luckily not a densely populated area, "only" about 2.000 people died). www.neeltjejans.nl/index.php/en/homeSend me a PM if you have a specific question
