I have a usual formed Ceph. I got it before 4 months. It was okay but until this Saturday it started to dry off even its pot is filled with water. here is the picture; you'll see that larger leaves and all traps are shriveled. And the paradox is that it's producing new leaves and traps even it's ''sick'' So what can I do to cure it? every recommendation would be helpful. Attachments:

This could be a seasonal change, Cephalotus usually keeps its leaves and traps for one season, when a new crop of leaves comes out,the previous ones die off.

Its looks like all the traps are dying off, but the non-carnivorous leaves are just fine. This would be typical for what a lot of people see as the seasons change, a shift from carnivorous activity to non-carnivorous activity.

It depends on where you are season wise. If the new growth coming out appears normal, then the plant is fine. If there is no new growth, or new growth dries up, this could indicate root rot. Very common with cephalotus. I personally do not use the tray system, for this reason. From your picture it appears that new growth is ok, so i think our plant is just going through seasonal change.

The leaves do not look very healthy. They look yellow around the edges and have spots and blisters. It also looks like there may be webbing under or next to the upper right leaf. I would do a thorough inspection for spider mites or other pests. It could be seasonal changes but an inspection wouldn't hurt. Good Luck!

Hate to say this but that's pretty much normal appearance for the non-carnivorous leaves. The "blisters" are normal texture, and they tend to turn yellowish at the edges before turning red - depending on light levels. www.sarracenia.com/galleria/g412.htmlwww.cpphotofinder.com/cephalotus-follicularis-12.html

Well. Ceph is dead unfortunately BUT I kept its root and several green leaves and I'll try to regrow it from them... But first I have to figure what is fungicide solution or a Trichoderma solution. ..

But first I have to figure what is fungicide solution or a Trichoderma solution. .. You say you kept the root? If the root was solid and healthy your Ceph wasn't dead it simply died back.Sometimes Cephs die back completely, they come back when they are ready usually with 2 or 3 more growth points. It's as though they die back to get on with work below the surface.
