Hello there,
I'm trying to find some of the cultivars made by John Hummer:
- Sarracenia 'John's Autumnal Splendor' - Sarracenia 'Harvest of Gold' - Sarracenia 'Triple Rarity'
It seems that nobody here in Europe has these cultivars (some other CVs from John are available, like Sarracenia 'Hummer's Hammerhead'). So is nobody interested, or are they not propagated on a larger scale yet? Maybe Barry knows more, as he mentions some of these CVs on his website?
Cheers, Martin Zevenbergen

Hi there,
Thanks for your input, I thought I checked Mike's list, but probably overlooked it..
For Stephen: do you know a specific source/person who has Sarracenia 'John's Autumnal Splendor', or you do have it yourself?

Do you have enough of it to do some trading? I don't know if this is a hassle with paperwork to Europe, otherwise my best option is to get it through Mike King.

It's a really fast grower. I don't know if it's feasible to do the trade though - being international and technically requiring a phytosanitary certificate and import/export license. :/

Hey Martin,
We sold these widely for several years from UCDavis, but after a while we could find no takers so we stopped selling them. I don't think we even have the plants in our collection anymore...these plants were a bit too floppy for my tastes. The old pitchers topple and make the plant look messy.
